Mock Draft Help

I'm doing a mock draft over at nfl-fans.com and my 2nd round pick is coming up, there are currently 3 teams ahead of me, but players who are still available include:

David Baas, C/G, Michigan

Kirk Morrison, LB, SD State

Shaun Merriman, OLB/DE, Maryland

Roddy White, WR, UAB

Alex Smith, TE, Stanford

Daunte Nicholson, S, Oklahoma

Brodney Pool, S, Oklahoma

Jimmy Williams, S/CB, VT (declared?)

Dan Cody, DE, Oklahoma

I already selected Rod Wright, DT, Texas with our 1st pick, I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out which one of these guys would be the best pick in the 2nd round. I'm leaning towards Cody cuse of value, but Roddy White or Williams are tempting.

There's probably a couple of picks there you can't go wrong with. We had a real nice thread about Merriman a couple of days ago, he's a big playmaker. Can't go wrong with Baas either, a smart big man that can play at two positions. I don't know much about alex smith but we need a TE, and Jimmy Williams is a tough guy and we need a safety. Any of the other guys just ask chrishova

Center is a huge need for us. How many more years does Richie have and who is going to back him up ?? We need someone to come in and benefit from a year watching Richie. Baas is big, smart, and as most have described (and would be great for us) NASTY !!! If he is there I would say grab him, but I see where others could go here as well. Baas would be MY pick here and I really hope we get him for real.

WHODEY !!!
