SI's picks, bengals/bills named as big game (bengals picked to lose by 4, but interesting):

When's the last time Buffalo and Cincinnati this late in a season played in something that might be considered the game of the week?

Probably 1990, when Sam Wyche and Marv Levy directed offensive juggernauts through their coaches-on-the-field, Boomer Esiason and Jim Kelly. The Bengals have the great passing offense this time, while the Bills with Willis McGahee have a state-of-the-art running game.

I hope Carson Palmer plays. He's led the Bengals to three straight 450-yards-plus games for the first time in franchise history. But he was still on crutches as of Wednesday after straining a knee Sunday in New England. If he can't go, I still think Jon Kitna -- maybe the best backup in the NFL right now -- will still play well, but not as well as Palmer.
