jamesbrooks21
He's also a competitor. If the option is there, he's going to want to check out the possibilities. While having Kitna here is awesome and couldn't think of a better scenario for Palmer, I hope that Kitna has the oppritunity to take over his own team. But I don't think he'll leave Cincy for another backup position, but if there's a starters position there, I couldn't imagine him wanting to backup Palmer if there's a chance to start for the rest of his career. True Dat! I think he would like a shot at starting again too, and he might get that chance with some of these teams w/o a QB.

The_Next_Big_Thing
Kitna is going nowhere. All these "trade him" rumours mean nothing other than fans thinking they are smart. Kitna doesn't want to be a starter somewhere else. I honestly believe he would rather become Icky Wood's assistant coach for the chicks football team in town rather than move out of Cincinnati. That being said, when you will play for $1 million a year as a veteran backup QB, and do the work of a QB coach at the same time, you are a steal! He's also a competitor. Yes, he is a competitor, but he is also a TEAM SPORTS COMPETITOR. He gets just as much being a backup and watching Carson win for him as he does being the starter. Talk to him sometime, listen to what he says. It's not just play.
