not-another
Lets say Palmer is out for the season (hopefully not), do you think Kitna will make it. I say maybe. But, I hope to God, Carson, only had a minor injury.

redsfan2
Kitna will be just fine. I'm still saying 9 and 7 on the season. And to all the TROLLS .... yeah. To us that is a big deal.
Bobcat Bengal
Well, a Backup QB is supposed to be ready at ANY given time, and if the league's best backup isn't ready, I don't know what to tell you.Plus, he know's the offense pretty well. But, the big play downfield will be basically eliminated though. Kirkendall
I think Kitna will be fine. It's up to Rudi, Chad, and TJ to pick up the slack Carson leaves IF he's out.
KYBENGALFAN
Do you think Jon Kitna's prayers were finally answered? I don't mean to imply he'd hurt Carson himself, but his pleading with THE MAN above might have been answered. Carson gets hurt when it matters most.. time for JON KITNA to come to the rescue and rekindle the QB controversy.. maybe i'm just over reacting. WHO DEY !!! Bobcat Bengal
Carson was quoted saying he felt no pain in his knee and he should be ready to go.Dude's a trooper, he'll be fine.
KYBENGALFAN
i hope CARSON is ready to go. I was listening to the game in my car, parked in front of our place, I've got Sirius Satellite radio, with NFL DRIVE, way cool, but when I emerged out of my car to tell the wife that Carson was hurt and Kitna was in, She said, OH NO!. I don't want to see Kitna next week!!! We have nothing against JK, but CARSON is the future of the Bengals and I feel he's our best shot to win against the Bills next Sunday. WHO DEY. TubThumper
I agree that Kitna is the bast backup QB in the league, especially with his knowledge of the Bengal's system. Kitna can't make the throws that Palmer can, but it was immediately obvious that he can run the offense like nobody's business. Now that the initial jitters are out of the way, I have no doubt that he can effectively do the job if necessary. But, to win out, the rest of the team is going to need to be more disciplined, especially if Kitna is playing, because the offense is going to be more patient and methodical with Kitna.Nine and seven isn't what they set out to do, but it's definitely progress. This is a process, and it's been entertaining.
