jjakq27
With last weeks win over the Ravens, Carson Palmer has led the team to 3 fourth quarter wins this year. They were tied at 13 with the Dolphins and he led them on a drive for a game winning field goal. Against the Browns, they were down 48-44 and they scored two TDs and against Baltimore he brought them from behind for another game winning field goal.I also read earlier this week where Bill Belichik compared him to a young John Elway. I know it is too early to compare him to Elway but that is a pretty big compliment. I don't think Carson will be mistaken for Akili Klingler anytime soon.BTW does anyone know how many 4 quarter wins Elway had in his career? Elway also holds the record for most game-winning or game-tying scoring drives in the fourth quarter, with 47http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_ElwayPalmer has 2 4th quarter wins/comebacks so far and he is 2-0 under the Prime Time Lights. Actually he has 3 4th quarter comebacks... They fell behind and needed a scoring drive against Cleveland as well.He also has failed to rally the troops in the 4th quarter, losing to the Jets on a failed last minute drive, and fumbling the ball away against Pittsburgh while rallying for a last minute drive to tie the ball game. And then there was the last minute drive against Tennessee to tie the game and send it into overtime that failed. Not only that, but against Cleveland in the first game, he failed to mount any drives in the second half. So, Carson is 3 of 6 on last minute drives. I think this is a good start in his first year as a starter. He will continue to improve and with any luck we won't need a 4th quarter drive in the last two minutes every other week.... jjakq27
OS, I came up with three. Miami, Cleveland and Baltimore. THe first one they were tied and the other two they were behind at some point in the fourth quarter.
AGrizzlyBaer
he has given us a shot in so many games, like the jets game, the two pittsburg games, the titans game, he has given us a shot in just about every game

Yeah so many points were scored in the Browns gameand the Bengals led for most of the game....I had forgot about the Clowns taking the lead 48-44. Espcially when you consider how many times he's been asked to win the game for us...no small task.

He has either done a great job or thrown the game losing interception or fumbled the ball to lose the game.
jditty47
yep hes 3-3 in the clutch. he needs to be about 80% in the clutch to be good. he's getting better though, going 2-0 in the clutch in the past 2 weeks and has improved vastly since the beginning of the season. I love his progress and his ability. He definately is the funnest QB to watch since blake and his deep balls to pickens. Not comparing them, palmer has a ton more potential than blake. bengalsfan33
He almost led us back to beat the Titans, but made a stupid mistake at the end when he fumbled it. He just keeps improving every week I watch him!
CJBestInAFC
I watch him too. He is going to be a great QB. He doesn't seemed to get rattled that much. In recent games when he makes a mistake, like an int., he makes up for it on the next series of drives by unleashing hell on the opposing defence. He seems to do better when he makes a mistake early. I couldn't believe some of the throws he was making with pinpoint accuracy in the Ravens game. If he keeps progressing like he has been he will be the best in the NFL in no time.
