Hey free agents are fine but looks whos playing good for us now ROOKIES. I think we now have some people who know how to draft. But it would be nice if we did get ALEXANDER. Being he is a local KY product... :)

Well I'd think the team should stear clear of Rogers, he was considered a bit of a bust until his contract year came up...Buyer beware.

Alexander would be great, but he isn't such a need that we should outbid everybody. If he offers a hometown discount then great. But I have a feeling Miami is gonna throw a lot of money his way. That is if he doesn't get tagged.

His 1st season he was off the charts !!!!

He hasn`t matched them since.

But My God he is no where near a BUST !!!!

I`d rather see the Bengals get him in Free Agency than ANY1 !!!

Oh and about the Bengals having enough cap room.

The Bengals are supposed to have 10+ million freed up next

year in "dead" money. Plus the salary cap should go up at least

5 million for every NFL team. (it went up almost 6 million last year)

And the Bengals have quite a few players that are playing their

last year of their contract. Only 3 of them are/were starters

Here is a list of Bengals playing the last year of their contract.

Bauman, Rashad

2004 380000.00

Myles, Reggie

2004 380000.00

Powell, Carl

2004 700000.00

Williams, Tony

2004 2200000.00

Chamberlin, Frank

2004 535000.00

Braham, Rich

2004 950000.00

Fontenot, Jerry

2004 760000.00

Richardson, Kyle

2004 660000.00

Watson, Kenny

2004 455000.00

Johnson, Berudi

2004 1824000.00

Mitchell, Anthony

2004 535000.00

Houshmandzadeh, T.J.

2004 628000.00

Walter, Kevin

2004 305000.00

Rough math says that`s about 10 million right there.

Factor in all the other stuff and the Bengals should be about

16-25 million UNDER the cap. They should be BIG PLAYERS

in Free Angency !!!
