Kirkendall Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 From Bengals.com (of course). The Bengals signed former Ravens wide receiver Freddie Milons to the practice squad two weeks after Baltimore released him from its squad. He replaces rookie wide receiver Maurice Mann, picked off the practice squad Monday by Miami. The 5-11, 193-pound Milons is a third-year player out Alabama yet to take a NFL snap. A fifth-round draft choice by Philadelphia in 2002, he was on the roster all season but inactive for the 16 games. He was traded to Pittsburgh on Aug. 31, 2003 for a conditional draft choice, and was inactive for all 16 games last season. He was waived by Pittsburgh on Sept. 1 of this year before the Ravens signed him to the practice squad Sept. 7. Quote
FonzieDog Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 Anybody think the fact that we have Baltimiore up on the schedule may have influenced this acquisition? I'm sure the coaches have been picking his brain about Baltimore's schemes. Quote
