Dillon on MNF

Whether people like him or not, we all know he is talented. But man, I watched like 20 mins of the game and how many times did Madden mention his name. Maddens a great/smart commentator, but its annoying when commentators focus on one player for a long time. Meh, maybe its just me :)

Yeah, Dillon, Dillon, Dillon.

Got to say though it must be nice to have an RB to throw a screen to. He got one for 20 yds. I noticed the Pats using him about as much as Faulk as the 3rd down back.

I'm wondering if Dillon can last through post-season. He came up gimpy a couple times. If he goes down, the Pats take a big hit. Then again, Troy Brown's been playing some corner w/ all their injuries there and it don't seem to hurt Bill's chances much.

First time Madden called a game with Dillon. I can understand why he talked about him so much... but I will say everytime Favre is on MNF, it's the only thing you hear about. Sometimes they forget there's another team with Favre playing...

Dillon's success shows two things.. He still has the DRIVE ... and a team can run the ball with a SOLID offensive line. Rudi Johnson had to fight for every yard he got on Sunday vs. Pittsburgh. There were no openings for him to run through. Dillon would have the same success as Rudi this year, if Corey had stayed in Cincy. But I was glad to see Corey go. Heck, we got a draft pick out of him.. Who did we draft with that pick from New England ??

I do believe it was Madieu Williams ;)

Has to be one of the best moves we've made in quite a while...along with grabbing Deltha O'Neal from the Broncos.

Dillon fumbles inside of Chiefs 5. Chiefs go 95 yds downfield to cut Pats lead to 24-19 w/ 6 minutes left.

Way to go Corey

Uh yeah--he had 95 yards and 2 TDs. He made one mistake.

I'd rather have a happy Corey Dillon than a Rudi Johnson anyday--and Cincinnati HAD their chance to make Dillon happy--they BLEW IT.

Now, he's going to go to the Super Bowl and get his ring. If he gets it, you guys won't hear the end of it.

;)

Not me! If I remember correctly Marvin gave that sorry sack of s**t every chance in the world to jump on board but he didn't. Rudi Johnson will give you 100% on every play. I don't think you could say that about Dillon's punk ass. Dillon is a selfish piece of s**t with no morals and Rudi on the other hand is a humble, TEAM player. You might say he's the anti-Dillon.
