schweinhart
Let's review:Tory James leads NFL in interceptions.Williams is second in the NFL with tackles by a SDeltha O'Neal is tied for 3rd for CB in pass deflectionsSimmons is tied for most interceptions by a LBThornton is 10th in tackles for DL (no Pitt players there either)Ok, Big deal.Stillers, #1 Redzone Offense, #1 Redzone Defense.#2 rushing O and #1 rushing DThat means we kick everyones asses. The Stillers as a team:allow the least yards per game, Cin is 20. And we lead the league in sacks with a disgusting 28 (w Phi and Bal)We also seem to have the only Defensive back with 4 sacks in the league in DeShea Townsend.Troy Polamalu has one less pass defensed than O'NealSimmons is tied with seven other players for most interceptions, including Stiller James Farrior. A man who also leads the league with two other men for forced fumbles (3) Those two men? Steve Foley and JOEY PORTER. And our Clark Haggans is just one behind with 2 ff's You boys better get some duct tape wrapped around your hands.Good job on williams being so high in tackles. We don't let our defense on the field that much to accumulate tackles, those damned running backs have us eating up over 40 minutes of TOP against the other two best teams in the league and leading the league with an average of 34:36. I guess when you are Cin in 22nd place for TOP with an average of 29:12, you get a lot more chances to tackle...Anyway, enough of that. I am looking forward to a good game. I am glad you guys made it out of the basement. It was sickening the last few seasons having my team discounted for having the weakest division in football. This season we are the strongest. Thanks for making us look better. I hope you guys can make it in as a wildcard over the Ravens Bye! Good data. Numbers don't lie...but they seldom tell the whole story. This is still an old AFC Central smashmouth battle. ML knows it and will instill this for the younger players to really get. Cowher knows it too but he may be looking ahead and savoring his sudden climb atop the pile of the most acclaimed coaches in the league.Yes. The game is played on the field. But I'm guessing ML is hungier for this W than Cowher and it will show in the way the teams perform and the coaching is executed.Sincerely,Bengals 27Steelers
Steel Legends
With Chad Johnson running his trap there's no way the Steelers come in flat for this game. This is a team on a mission and they want to accomplish winning that Lombardi not only for the city but for the fans and for Cowher...Steelers aren't going to lose this game. If you feel so confident agree to the bet that we've ask all of you to agree to. It is in the Smack forum. We've yet to have anyone agree to it... denverbengal
This is a team on a mission and they want to accomplish winning that Lombardi not only for the city but for the fans and for Cowher...LMAO at YOU, King of all that is homer. I think you've been reading too many super-hero comics my man.Meanwhile, back at the Steeler Hall Of Justice...Joey Porter: "Gee coach C, that sure was a vigorous workout you put us through today."Cowher: "Well you know Joey, we ARE on a mission."Porter: "I know coach, and I'd do anything to accomplish that mission. I'd even take a bullet in the a$$ if that's what it takes. Wait a minute...I've already done that. "Cowher: "I know Joey. And I also know that's not the only foreign object you've ever had in your a$$ either. But that's not important right now. What is important is that we remain focused on the task at hand. We must bring back the Lombardi to the great Steel City so that the noble fans and citizens of Pittsburgh will continue to love us. You know what happens to that love when we don't win."Porter: "Oh, I know coach. I was reminded of that last year. It was just awful. People booed us, coach. I almost cried. You know the only reason I play football is so the dignity of our fans will remain intact...and to please you of course."Cowher: I know Joey, and you did a fine job of that last night. Now we must concentrate on pleasing the fans...every last one of them."Porter: "Ooooh (squeals like little girl). That sounds like fun."Cowher: "Don't look at it as fun, Joey. That's our job...our duty. We're the mighty Steelers. And we stand for truth, justice, and the Appalachian way. Now, let's go get pumped for those evil Bengals. They're the only thing standing in the way of Steeler glory." Porter: "Oooh. Go team!!!"Bengals - 20Steeler glory - 17WHODEY bitches!!!

I'll tell you what, I'll even answer it for you, not s**t!!!!!!!!!! The last time you went to the super bowl Neil freakin Donnell was your quarterback. He was so good that he allowed the first DB to ever get the MVP. That MVP was so bad he was the first guy to NOT get to say "I'm going to disneyworld. denverbengal
Nauh, I'm just speaking the truth and you can't take facts. What's your record? It won't be long until we steam roll another team and upset Marv againI can take the facts. I'm a Bengals fan dude, come on. I've been taking the facts for the last 30 years and it hasn't been pretty or easy (talk about the best fans in the world!!). You're 8-1 and we're 4-5. You have the no. 1 defense...yada yada. Heard it all before. But I've learned something over the years that hopefully, you'll be learning this Sunday. Your statistics don't mean squat. They're a measurement of what your team has done in the past against other teams. We've faced two number one defenses so far this year (and heard the same pre-game smack from their fans), and we handled them both fairly easily. Our worst run D in the league shut down Portis last week, and didn't let Droughns beat us last month. Does that mean we're going to beat you? No. But there is something to be learned here. Statistics don't determine the outcome of individual games. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that the Bengals are going to kick your a$$ on Sunday. And I'll give you that more than likely, I'll be watching your Steelers in the playoffs after my Bengals' season has ended. But for you to come here and spew your mighty steeler drivel without taking into account the fact that the Bengals are dangerous at home, and you might possibly lose this game is asinine. Especially considering how we played you in Pittsburgh. It shows that your homerism for your team outweighs your knowledge of the NFL, and the fact that there is a legitimate chance that you will lose on Sunday (or you just have an inferiority complex and you overcome it by bashing those who you feel are beneath you). You know, there's nothing wrong with being proud of your team, and still showing some class and humbleness at the same time.

bengalboomer7
What it comes down to is that the Bengals have the best fans in the league. People don't even know about thinking every year could be the year, this is when the bengals finally look like a team and then Mike Brown would rip your f@#$ing heart out. If any of you (by my guess it was probably all of you, loyal fans, except bax(just kiddin)) loyally and vocally rooted for the bengals throughout that time then you are a real fan. I am still emotionally scarred at the laughs and snickers I've recieved through the years for being a bengals fan, but I still never waivered. I can gaurantee you all, With Marvin Lewis making the calls, WE will be the ones that get the last laugh

Good thing about this is that all the pressure is ON YOUR team. After all .... you are 8 n 1 and we are only 4 and 5. Your team is supposed to beat the likes of us ...... We on the other hand have about as much chance of beating the stealers as we did ... KC last year ...... the Pats ( in pre season ) after all they hadn't lost in like 3 yrs. ..... That scoring Machine Denver Broncos. Hell even the Redskins were going to cake walk over us thanks to Genius Joe. If your team does win, I'm quite sure we'll see you for a couple of posts telling us how great your team is for beating another team that doesn't have a winning record. On the other hand .... IF you do lose by ..... oh say 10 points or so you'll be gone like a fart in the wind. And missed just about as much. Oh by the way .... That yellow and black gooshy s**t on Justin Smiths jersey is going to be from " Big Ben " Laugh all you want .... just see if you can keep laughing while your ass is puckering every time The Bengals score.
