I've been noticing that williams is a lot of people's choice for rook of the year at the halfway point. Makes that DIllon trade look even better.

Cincy's never had a defensive rookie of the year. However, we have had an offensive rookie of the year (and overall rookie of the year) in 1985 with Eddie Brown.

Well, that would be pretty cool, I couldn;t remember if we had a defensive rook.

I would love to see him get ROY, but many media outlets have said more about the safeties from the NY teams. And espn.com didn't even have him on the first half all-rookie team.

I didn't read that. NFL.com has him as the rook of the year for the first half. I would like to see his stats compared to other rooks performing well

Madieu is a definite choice for rookie of year, but he gets no recognition because he plays for a poor Bengals defense. He has been our best rookie, and best defensive player in my opinion.
