Marvin Lewis, Bengals- 10-13 (Overall: 10-13)

Bill Parcells, Cowboys- 7-15-1 (Overall: 151-110-1)

Joe Gibbs, Redskins- 14-9 (Overall: 126-65)

Bill Belichick, Patriots- 10-13 (Overall: 81-70)

Tom Coughlin, Giants- 7-16 (Overall: 73-62)

With the exception of Gibbs... Marvin is right on track with these coaches.

Yes, but this is Cincinnati. We can't even CONCEIVE the idea of letting a coach here go through growing pains..

Seriously, too many people are calling for coaches and assistant coaches heads, and you know who you are. Give them some time. There's a reason a certain coach in Pittsburgh didn't get the boot last off season. His owners had faith in him to rebound.

Also, I'm sure you could find the other end of the spectrum, where really bad coaches had good starts...it all just depends on the situation. We know Marvin came into a tough one (to put it mildly), so the start he's had could have been expected...
