San Antonio Bengal
We lost to the Titans. That game is over and done with, but it's time to move on and focus on next Sunday. The Dallas Geriatrics will be coming to town and hopefully their arthritis will start acting up. We do our best in the friendly confines of PBS and I'll be looking for some fire in our players. I just wish that it didn't take a bad beat or a game under the lights for our team to get that spark. We can win this game, but it depends on whether Jekyll or Hyde shows up.Maybe our run defense will look just slightly better since Dallas has the 23rd rushing offense (only 5 yards ahead of our 24th ranked rushing offense)? It's wishful thinking probably, but that's what you have to rely on when you're a Bengals fan.:player:
BengalBobNC
Yeah, if this season has proved one thing, it is that we do not know which team will show up on Sunday. It's hard to speculate what the outcome will be.I can only hope for the best then wait and see what I get.Go Bengals!
ArmyBengal
If we make Eddie George look like his early years, I'll vomit. I know this is a new post-Titans game thread, but Godd**n it, every game has been winnable and this just sucks. I hope they "show up" as watching this game in the hostile confines of San Antonio could be rough. SA Bengal, where do you watch the games ?? Anyway, still hoping for the best.WHODEY !!! BengalBobNC
If we make Eddie George look like his early years, I'll vomit.Have a bag ready and some pepto...just in case. I hope it is not needed, we are at home, but it is not nationally televised.I hope we click in every aspect of the game. Including the home crowd. They need to be into it early and all day. BengalNation1281
They just keep fooling me...I reach my high as a Bengals fan on Monday, and they come back and play like a JV high school team on Sunday. Palmer needs to go, I don't care if they replace him with Casey Bramlet at this point, but Palmer has taken us out of close games too many times this year.I am not really sure what to feel right now. I want to be optimistic, but I can't.BN1281
BlueHeart
Good luck, guys. Needless to say, I'd like to see you kick the crap out of Dallas. And there's no reason why you can't.Being a Giants fan, I can understand completely about "not knowing which team will show up" on Sunday.I've been saying for years: When they find me on the floor dead, the offical cause of death will be ruled - The New York Football Giants. not-another
If the Bengals give their 110%, I know they can beat them. Dallas puts their cleats on like the Bengals, so stop saying "they might have a chance". Bengals DO have a chance! They just gotta give it their all. I want to be optimistic, but I can't.BN1281 I wish you would look at the real problem, which is the offensive and defensive lines. They are the one's who are not giving Palmer a chance. I don't care if we had Favre or Manning, they wouldn't be doing any better with the constant pressure Carson has to face every game. One game where he had a little time to pass (Denver game), he showed what he could do. Put Palmer on the Steeler's team and he would look better than Big Ben (not taking anything away from him). gene
How did I ever end up on a Bengals message board?I knew I should have made that left at Albuquerque.......As long as I'm here I'd just like to take the time to wish you guys luck. As the old cliche goes: "My second favorite team is whoever is playing the Cowboys".
BengalBax
We then we are your second favorite team! But don't be mad at us when we blow it BTW, hello again all...I loved you too much to stay away
San Antonio Bengal
I hope they "show up" as watching this game in the hostile confines of San Antonio could be rough. SA Bengal, where do you watch the games ??San Antonio isn't that rough. I've been glad to see that there are some around who're now sporting Texans apparel. With that San Antonio is probably only about 98% Cowboys fans. But that's still not so rough. If I were to go around with a Shaq or Kobe jersey, then San Antonio would be rough! As for watching the game, I don't have a spot where I always go. I catch some games and others I don't. not-another
Boo Dallas! Only reason their popular is they got good looking cheerleaders. But, really. Dallas is a bandwagon thing. Im tired of seeing everyone and their grandma wearing Dallas Shirts. I hope the Bengals really beat the Dallas Cowboys, that will make my week. Barbarian
Uhhhhh--no way Parcells lets his Dickboys lose to the Bungles. Final Score:Dickboys 24Bungles 16Shayne Graham, player of the game for the Bungles, once again.
schweinhart
Cowbirds are giving up more per run this year than Bengals. Rudi has got to be sizing up a buck 50 right now.Parcells is looking a little pekid right now, like he's realizing he's got Fins type personnel problems. No Glenn? He ate up Pitt. Qunicy Morgan might show up this week, though.
The Brew Man
I think the Bengals can win this game. They play different at home and although the crowd wont be what it was on MNF, it will still be solid. (i'll be there)Dallas has very little running game so that should benefit the Bengals, no stud RB to run for 150 on them. But watch out for Jason Witten, this kid is a stud TE in the making. The soft underbelly of the bengal D (over the middle) could be exposed early and often.

If you haven't been to Fatso's in San Antonio, it's a great place to watch the game. They show ALL games on bigscreen, costs nothing to get in, and I'm sick of being the only Bengals fan in the joint catching S**T every week. Anyway, come on out.Agree that the O and D Lines suck. Watch the games where the O-line stepped up and Carson looks incredible. When they don't protect, you get what we have had in ALL of our losing games. Since when does another team not having a strong running game make a difference for us ?? Our run defense is dead last (BIG SUPRISE) and sucks monkey balls. George runs for 200 and 2 TD's, feeling like his days of Buckeye lore. Here's to hoping Andrews learns the positions quickly and strongarms the opposing D-line next year. Hell if things get any worse, throw him in and let him learn by fire. Now that I'm thinking about it, throw them all in as we weren't planning on doing anything this year but we are for 2005 / 2006 !!! Anyway, holding onto hope yet another week.WHODEY !!! If EG had 99 yards on anyone else in the NFL--that means that EG is at least capable of going for 120+ on the Bungles Pathetic Run D.I know legless men that could "run" for 120+ against THAT DEFENSE.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
