27atwater
Cincy did a good job last night of not letting Denver turn the field position over. I liked the 4thand 1 call even though Denver made the stop. With our young WRs, there have been some drops...thus making it hard for Denver to sustain 90+ yard drives. When Denver DID get something going, either a WR would drop a 3rd down pass or Cincy would do a good job of getting their hands up to knock down a pass.Overall, I think the field position was the key. It was a winnable game for Denver (until the brain fart that let Rudi scamper untouched), but they had to work hard ALL 4 QTRS. Punt returns killed us as even when we would move the ball near midfield, a nice PR would set Cincy up again.Again, Kudos on a nice win. I'll bet Cincy was a great town to be in last night. Stadium seemed like it was rockin'. Good luck and hopefully you can beat Pitt, Balt, Clev and any AFC West team that ya come in contact with. I'm truly glad to see some potential becoming solid play in Cincy. It's been too long of a wait.Do ya think Marvin will be calling the D the rest of the way? Thanks atwater, yeah, the stadium was rocking. I dont think it could have been any better had we won a playoff game. Crazy night. Comparable to the Chiefs win last year. Anyway, good point about field position. The Bengals did win that battle and it helped big time. The bigger issue for your mustangs was turnovers however, hard to win when you turn it over so much. :player:
