Bobcat Bengal Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I was watching NFL Today Sunday, and I saw that the Vikings were considering trading Chris Hovan, their former first-round DT. I know he's not starting anymore, but that guy is better than any DT we have on our team as of now, and I really think it would give our run defense a shot in the arm. What do you think are of chances of getting this guy? I would be geeked as hell if we even started talking with the Vikings about acquiring him. Quote

I don't see the Bengals looking to upgrade personnel via trading. No doubt, the Vikes will want trade picks for Hovan and I'm guessing Lewis wants all of his picks to develop a team rather than patch a team. Quote
