bengalsfan33 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 at. Cincinnati Bengals(1-3) at. Cleveland Browns(2-3)1 p.m. SundayAt. Cleveland Browns StadiumOverview:Bengals are coming off a bye week, and are going to be getting a few injured players back out there. Expect the Browns to be running half of the time, so the Bengal defense is going to really have to step it up a notch. Bengals should be ready to go tomorrow. The Browns lost last week to the Steeler by 11. Browns aren't going to be as healthy as the Bengals since the Browns are losing a few starters right now. If the Browns want to win, the running game is going to have to be effective.Key Matchup:Chad Johnsonvs.Cleveland's SecondaryChad Johnson literally sent the Browns a mesage, this week by sending the Browns secondary pepto bismol on the mail. Johnson better hope that he doesn't eat his words after this one. He did a year or two back and lost to the Browns. If the Browns can shut him down, than Palmer will have to hand it off more than throw. With Warrick out, Palmer will have to only focus on getting it to Johnson. Better hope Rudi has a big game.Key Stats: BengalsQB: Carson Palmer- 84-154 875 yds 3 TD 7 INTWR: Chad Johnson- 20 catches 297 yds 1 TDRB: Rudi Johnson- 92 rushes 355 yds 2 TDLB: Brian Simmons- 15 tackles 1 INTKey Stats: BrownsQB: Jeff Garcia- 74-137 836 yds 4 TD 4 INTWR Dennis Northcutt- 19 catches 113 yds RB: William Green- 63 rushes 252 yds 0 TDRB: Lee Suggs- 33 rushes 112 yds 1 TDSS: Robert Griffith- 32 tackles 1 INTPrediction:This should be a pretty good game. Both teams aren't going anywhere and their both rivals. Gonna be Ugly!!! It all comes down to if the Bengals defense can stop he run. If they can shut down Green and/or Suggs down, than I think they'll win this game.Bengals-14Browns-10 Quote
