The Brew Man
So, with the season only 3 weeks old. I wanted to run a quick comparison between two of the better coaches in the league. I think they have some strong similarities.-both were known for thier defenses in years past, Dungy with TB, Marvin in Balt.-both have failed to put good defenses on the field with thier new teams The obvious difference right now in the two teams is Indys offense is stacked with Manning, James and Harrison. So, what gives? Are these guys truly defensive gurus or were they just benefitting from great players around them?

I think a good coach is a good coach, and could do just as well on offense AND defense. Ravens coach was an offensive guru, and look at his team...I also think it shows how much head coaches lean on their co-ordinators. A head coach just doesn't have time to commit themselves to one area more than the other. He's got to be doing a little of everything all the time. Give Cincy a new head coach, and stick Lewis as defensive coordinator, and I think the defensive guru title come back with avengance. If it doesn't get any better throughout the year, you have to guess Frazier is gone. I'm not writing him off YET, but I think his job is definitely on the line. The Brew Man
True, Frazier may pay the price unless we see some improvement on D....wont help with Nate out now....
Bobcat Bengal
I think the entire team should watch some Terry Tate commercials until their eyes bleed...
