walzav29 Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 I'm so tired of being optimistic and then it blows up in my face. Sure I have hope for these Bengals, but I have every year. I am not going to get jacked up for the Jets. I'm going to assume that the Bengals will get killed. Last year's Broncos game was devastating! Jet's 45 Bengals 9. It doesn't matter, I'll stick with these no matter what, but i'm getting punch drunk. Rudi Boom By-YA Quote
Tampa Bengal Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 You can't tell anything in preseason. Don't jump off the bandwagon yet! Quote
Kirkendall Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Don't be troubled too soon, then we won't have much to talk about in week 14. We'll be ok... Quote
The Brew Man Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Cmon guys, the rollercoater ride has got to end!!!Just like we shouldnt have gotten so juiced up after the NE game, we cant let this game have the opposite effect! Cmon, some of us here are diehards that have been through every last loss in the 90s and are still excited about this team. And some of us will still be there even if this team doesnt make the playoffs, Carson isnt an all pro and Chad doesnt run for mayor. So, ride it out, take it week to week and enjoy a good up and coming franchise..... Quote
wookie Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Congrats Terry!!Also, as far as the regular season goes the Bengals are 0-0 and in a 4 way tie for 1st in the AFC North. Until they lose more than 6 games I'm not budging from my 10-6 prediction. Quote
walzav29 Posted August 31, 2004 Author Report Posted August 31, 2004 As a Bengal fan I'm like a beaten dog. Remember when we went crazy for Shake-N-Blake? How about when Coslet was gonna be the "tough guy" we all wanted, or when Dick (Player Coach) LeBlow took us to that great 2-0 start! When we finally drafted a franchise running back KiJana Carter, to team up with Blake, Pickens, and Scott! I was optimistic Quote
BengalsMan3203 Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Because we are the Cincinnati Bengals... What are we supposed to do? Win? I think not. Quote

MoellerWhoDey Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 I don't know if we'll make it to the playoffs this year, but I'm sure we will see flashes of brilliance from this team and go around 9-7 and then 16-0 in the 2005-2006 season. :player: who dey Quote

walzav29 Posted September 1, 2004 Author Report Posted September 1, 2004 Easy esai. I'm just saying it is rough to get out of the old routine. It's these damn pre-season games. I'm just hoping Carson lights it up in the regular season. OK muchacho. Now quite being such a bendajo, relax with a cervasa and enjoy the season. I don't the have direct TV in Mexico anyway, so I don't think you understand the pain that us Bengal fans have had to endure. Quote
MexicanFan Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 SURE I UNDERSTAND THE PAIN . I DIE EVERY SUNDAY SINCE 1992 AND I SAW EVERY GAME IN DIRECTV SINCE 1997, BUT I DON'T LIKE THE WAY THAT FANS KIND ME EXPRESS ABOUT THE TEAM AND WORST IN THE PRESEASON. IF WE DON´T SUPPORT THEM, WHOM ELSE? THE BROWNS?SADLY I CAN'T BE IN THE STADIUM , BUT I'LL GO IF I COULD, BELIEVE ME. THEN . . . "VAMOS BENGALIES DE CINCINNATI" Quote
walzav29 Posted September 1, 2004 Author Report Posted September 1, 2004 Hey Muchacho! Of course we will support the mighty Bengals. I'm going to the Ravens and the Bronco games. There is no team to love more than Cincy. I just remember last year when the Bengals wore all black for the 1st time. I thought with the new expectations and hype we were going to kill the Broncos and we got the tar beat out of us. I believe in Marvin and he'll turn us around. I just want to beat every team now. I don't want showing's like vs the Falcons. I have been patient. 4 winning seasons in 23 years is patience. I'm ready for the Bengals to kick some A$$!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
