jditty47 Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 haha!btw if u go to bengals.com even coach simmons is worried about the punting. Quote
wookie Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Didn't get too excited about the victory over the Pats, not getting too depressed over the loss to the Falcons. Would have been nice to see more consistency, but 2 weeks from now everyone still has the same record and the same chances for post-season.Injuries are mounting up, maybe a little concerned with that, but none seem to serious. What's the news on Chamberlin? Said he went out with his arm in a sling, didn't hear anything else.As far as fixing things, let the coaches game-plan, set schemes, review film, and let the players play a regular season game before talking about having to fix a lot. Palmer needs protection, this is not a new concept in football. He should have some of his starters back for the Jets game and he should be ok.The secondary had a bad day, took a rookie QB too lightly, should be ok in the regular season. Lewis won't sit back and let the D perform like a 28th ranked unit again.Congrats to DD, the team played well. You're welcome for the Bengals leaving the team that played the Patriots at home in Cincy. Quote
daredevil25 Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 THANKS! Didn't want to see that team, glad they stayed in Cincinatti. I'll still be here during the season, but hope you guys have GREAT season, if anyone upsets the Ravens I hope its you guys. Quote
