Your blood donation during this special campaign will ensure the patients in our local hospitals have the blood they need to get though the holiday weekend. One lucky donor will be picked at random from all the donors from 8/16 to 9/4. The winner will be contacted by Hoxworth. How to enter to win the season tickets package:Please call (513) 451-0910 or (800) 830-1091 or email hoxapctr@ucmail.uc.edu to schedule an appointment to donate at any of Hoxworth’s eight donor centers or community blood drives. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.Donating blood is safe and easy. You must be at least 17 years old and in good health. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate. It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating. I wouldn't donate a bucket of piss for that. But you can still give me those tickets for free.However, if I'm at the stadium--odds are that I'll buy something from the concessions. If you do donate and you win the tickets you can donate them to an organization or a youth group that would be happy to have them. If you don't win, then someone still benefits from your generosity.
