Before I throw Guenther under the bus I looked back at 2012 with Zimmer.

Here's how it went:

FIRST HALF

Keep in mind that this was Zimmer's 5th year as the Bengals DC, and his second year of the Dalton era!

It took Zimmer, a 5 year DC, half a season to adjust.

Under the circumstances, I think Guenther should be given some slack.

It did last year.

I think the point here is Zimmer had 6 years as Bengals DC and 3 years with the Dalton gang to get to the #3 defense in the league.

Paul has had 5 games.

I'm not concerned about Paul at all. Not in the least.

Everything I have seen to this point, I put on the players and their lack of discipline.

Go watch the Panthers game again if you dare. The defense should be ashamed.
