EdwardG Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Posted August 16, 2004 So far, so good. Rudi is running strong, and Palmer had a nice 9 yard pass to Chad Johnson. Two first downs so far, we are in Tampa territory. Quote

EdwardG Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Posted August 16, 2004 Well, that sucked. Palmer had a nice pass to Chad, but Chad dropped it. Then Palmer through to Housh, who dropped it into the hands of a Tampa defender. That's one interception, although it was completely Housh's fault. Quote

EdwardG Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Posted August 16, 2004 On defense, Bill Schroeder just torched us (yikes) and Tampa is down to our 28. Quote

EdwardG Posted August 17, 2004 Author Report Posted August 17, 2004 Well, our offense is looking good. We have moved inside the redzone, almost entirely on the strength of Carson's arm. He is looking solid in the pocket so far, and he even had a Boomer-like rolling pass for 40 some yards to Kelly Washington. Quote
EdwardG Posted August 17, 2004 Author Report Posted August 17, 2004 After a scary Gus Frerotte play where Palmer was getting sacked and almost threw a pick, we thankfully kicked a field goal and the game is knotted at 3-3. Quote

LABengalsFan09 Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 Are the yards via arm strength or the catch and run variety? Quote
LABengalsFan09 Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 After a scary Gus Frerotte play whisper: dont ever mention that name again.... Quote
Kirkendall Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 Receivers looking bad, offensive line looking very good, rush defense above average and pass defense, well, Beckett and James got burnt so far and LBer's aren't seeing their reads out of the backfield as well.Receivers looking bad meaning balls going threw hands and dropped passes.. Quote
EdwardG Posted August 17, 2004 Author Report Posted August 17, 2004 And he is slicing up our D, as they are down inside the redzone. Quote
EdwardG Posted August 17, 2004 Author Report Posted August 17, 2004 Well, after a series of penalties for the Bucs, they were backed up to a 3rd and 34, but they kicked the field goal to go ahead 6-3. Quote
EdwardG Posted August 17, 2004 Author Report Posted August 17, 2004 Well, Perry got in and promptly fumbled the ball back to Tampa. Quote
