wookie Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Dillon made his debut with the Pats in limited action, here's the exerpt from nfl.com:Dillon, often at odds with management during seven seasons with Cincinnati, had five runs for 23 yards. His longest, a 13-yarder three plays before Brady's 9-yard touchdown pass to David Patten, drew a loud ovation. "I had butterflies, but that's a good thing because I haven't felt that way in a long time," Dillon said. Well, I guess its not a bad start, but with the 13 yarder it gave him 10 more yards on 4 carries. Still its only the 1st game and I do wish him well with the Patriots other than the game against Cincy. Besides, I fully expect there to be plenty of Rudi, Rudi chants this year...along with Who Dey!! :player: Quote
Chad Johnson Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 dont know... he really pissed me off there at the end... At first I though he got jobbed and had some right to be pissed...but then he got out of controll and Im stil a bit pissed at him... Quote
jditty47 Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 he looked right in their back field...i cant wait to see what he does throughout the season. Quote
skyline Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Yeah, I've got to say he looked good from the highlights.I have nothing against him...the way it went down in the end was pretty bad, but he gave this franchise quite a bit. I would love to see Nate knock him on his butt a few times, though. Quote
jditty47 Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 well ya when he plays us i hope he gets 20 yrds on 15 carries. Quote
wookie Posted August 14, 2004 Author Report Posted August 14, 2004 Against us I'd like to see him with -3 or less!! Against anyone else he can do fine, as long as he finishes behind Rudi in the AFC. Quote
redsfan2 Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 he looked right in their back field...i cant wait to see what he does throughout the season. Watching him and Spikes go at it twice a year is going to be interesting. Quote

I hadn't thought about that. I'll be sure to tune into those games if they're televised in my neck of the woods... Quote
