Spor_tees
This is from Cincyjungle:According to ESPN Senior Writer John Clayton, the deal that Clements signed is for two seasons, $10.5 million with $6 million in guarantees.According to NFL.com this is Lawson's deal:Free-agent linebacker Manny Lawson has agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, a league source said Tuesday. And according to Roroworld, this is Howard's contract:Bengals agreed to terms with LB Thomas Howard on a two-year, $6.5 million contract. It looks like the Linebacking corps will be intact for another year if the Bengals can sign Lawson back, otherwise they may decide to go with a younger guy. Also Rivers health might be a major factor in that decision. It also feels good to know that Clements is signed on for another year. At this point I wouldn't mind seeing an extra year extension to his deal so that he is here a total of 3 years. On a side note, isn't it odd that the Reds once had an outfielder from Germantown, OH named Thomas Howard, and now the Bengals have a player named Thomas Howard. It's not like it is a common name. The Howard that played for the Reds had the nickname "Tank," maybe he was playing the wrong sport.
