kurgan74
I know he was a disappointment, and certainly could not live up o the valuethat the Jaguars gave up to move from 26 to jump ahead of the Bengals in the draft. However, he is a young and big DE. Any interest by fans in this guy?

derekshank
I can see Mikey playing redeemer and ovrpaying himThe league minimum would be overpaying. He wasn't a cap casualty. He wasn't going to make the team. He doesn't belong in the NFL, and he won't be a Bengal.
blueridge
Derek Harvey has talent. A change of scenery and new coaching staff might be just what this guy needs. The pressure on Harvey to justify the Jags' investment, live up to his top 10 status, and fulfill everyone's expectationsexpectations must have been tremendous. He might never be an elite player, but he may still become a productive NFL DE. I think it would be well worth the minimal investment required to sign Derek Harvey, bring him into camp, and see can do. Some team will. kingwilly
How could the Jags miss so badly with Harvey? Del Rio knows players, so this guy has to have something. If there is anyone who could extract the potential from Harvey, I'd wager Zimmer could do it.We need DE's. With only Geathers as a true vet, they are thin at DE. MJ and Dunlap could really emerge but with only Frostee and Adeannju behind these guys, the cupboard is bare.
