I am not crazy about Shannon Sharpe though. Good player that played on some great teams but I don't consider him a game changer. Maybe because he is too recent for me. Cris Carter should have gotten his place instead. My issue is that all of the dominating performances of a season and ultimately a career don't seem to matter in the NFL HoF. It seems to just be about players that have won Super Bowls. It unfairly diminishes many of the games great players that did not have the fortune to get that far or to win one.
