coupdayta
Peter King brought up a very good point in his mailbag today. What if Hue Jackson is the next Bengals head coach? I would love to see that happen. If it does work out that, maybe Hue what it takes to get Palmer back to his old form. There really is no excuse for Palmer this year. We added TO, Gresham and Shipley and he seems to be regressing. I'm not sure if another O-coordinator/new coaching staff can do anything about that but if there's one that could, my bet is that it would be Hue Jackson. cincyhokie
Simply getting rid of Chad Johnson and TO would benefit Palmer greatly. Adding Hue Jackson would be a huge bonus.
mb376905
Jackson for head coach and bring in Norm Chow to be the OC?
Trevor
Norm chows gone downhill since 06-07... I'd rather have josh mcdaniel,.. I think the third cheats the charm seriously though about mcdaniel, him and hue could make a killer O. And we all know what zim can do
fattyjay
I fully support the notion of getting mcdaniels in cincy for the oc. Just don't let him have any say on personnel moves. I witnessed first hand how bad he is on that living in Denver.
Kazkal
I like Hue Jackson Alot I thing he's done a good job in oakland given what they have for Oline & Receivers,But I worry he's to much of a players coach.Overall I'd like to see it and hope he would be allowed to build his own offensive coaching staff instead of Brat, alexander, sheppard, zimpense

That said, I would REALLY like to have him as the OffensiveCoordinator, but definitely NOT as a Head Coach.
Trevor
Yeah but he would not come to cincy as a coordinator,... It's head coach or bust,.. Now mcdaniels would,.. And with zim holding down the D... I think thats a good start...
DC_Bengals_Fan
First, no to McDaniels. I see no evidence of his being responsible for NE's offense - allegedly he and Brady weren't even on speaking terms. Methinks he was right place, right time.On Hue - given what he's done with a difficult situation in Oakland, I think it very likely he'll get a HC shot. He'll be on the short list of guys to talk to, frankly, due to the Rooney Rule if nothing else.
