Dadraftnick
Ever wonder why the national press always keep playing the Bengals are crininals angle?Or why they predict the Bengals to suck this year even though they have a damn good team. Its because the writters and and talking heads are lazy bums that dont know anything about them ,they follow their favorite team and a few other big name teams .Case in point Marshal Falk who never misses a chance to trash the Bengals, was showing tape of the Bengals V Jets play-off game a few weeks ago and while trashing the Bengals chances to win the division he said the Bengals didnt even know what they were doing in that game, Carson Palmer was even handig the ball off with wrong hand.He didnt even know that Carson had hurt his hand at the begining of the year and had handed the ball off with the "wrong hand" all year.- its his job to know thos kind of things.-and is I recall the game was "close"and the Jets beat some other teams they werent susposed to.This from recent Pat Kirwan article. Can a rebuilt line bring back potent offense? Gone from last season's starting lineup are the center (Eric Ghiaciuc), left tackle (Levi Jones) and right tackle (Stacey Andrews). In are a rookie at right tackle (Andre Smith), a center with very limited experience (Kyle Cook) and a utility lineman at left tackle (Andrew Whitworth). Offensive line coach Paul Alexander quickly must get this group up and running. Cincinnati is high on Cook, who has a reputation as a scrapper. He will be tested in a division with outstanding nose tackles who are all bigger than Cook. If he struggles during camp, what will happen when he faces Pittsburgh's Casey Hampton, Cleveland's Shaun Rogers and Baltimore's Haloti Ngata? Pat Kirwan thinks that Eric Ghiciuc , Levi Jones , and Stacy Andrews were on the Bengals last year.- what a joke. That is on NFL.COM - Here is the whole article What will Bengals do to improve pass rush? DE Antwan Odom had eight sacks in the first six games last year before ending his season with an Achilles tendon injury. He is ready to go this season and that should give the Bengals a double-digit sack guy on one side. Training camp will tell how ready second-year LB/DE Michael Johnson is to step up as another pass rusher with the potential to pick up double-digit sack stats. Last year he had three sacks in the last nine games of the season. Camp will also give us a glimpse at what this year's second-round pick, Carlos Dunlap, can do as a pass rusher. The Bengals seem poised to move from 34 sacks in 2009 to the mid-40 range, where the Steelers, Vikings and Eagles usually perform. Can a rebuilt line bring back potent offense? If he struggles during camp, what will happen when he faces Pittsburgh's Casey Hampton, Cleveland's Shaun Rogers and Baltimore's Haloti Ngata? Is the kicking situation settled? The Bengals were in seven games decided by fewer than a seven points last season. Shayne Graham, a steady kicker for years, made 23 of 28 field goals last year during the regular season, with two kicks blocked. His postseason performance, in which he missed two field goals against the Jets, got him a pink slip. Now Mike Nugent gets the call. Nugent, who replaces a guy that made 85 percent of his career kicks, made just 4 of 8 last year and is a 79 percent career field goal kicker, which makes this a critical area of the camp evaluations for the Bengals. Dave Rayner is the main competition for the job but missed the 2009 season after reaching an injury settlement with the Redskins. Keep an eye on the Texans, who go to camp with Kris Brown and Neil Rackers, for a possible answer if things don't go well this summer. -- Pat Kirwan
ArmyBengal
Looks like a cut and paste job that forgot the "cut" from the 2009 season preview.Yeah, sad and pathetic from the so called "expert analysts"...
DC_Bengals_Fan
I'm not worried about Guichick at center, but I'm worried about our secondary with Ratliff and Ohalete.

Kazkal
I love how they love to mention Bengals haven't had had back to back winning seasons for twenty years but when the Ravens were in the same boat last year you never heard people doubt em for it because everyone loves pimping the Ravens every year :|

Actually so am I.I'm not worried about Guichick at center, but I'm worried about our secondary with Ratliff and Ohalete.Don't forget Khalid Abdullah on special teams and Nate Webster at MLB! ArmyBengal
Ohalate sucked balls, but I remember in a preseason game at least 4 years ago where he hit Jim Sorgi of the Colts so hard, his children's unborn children felt it. Ashame he couldn't continue to do the same thing through the season.
