But............... just to play devils advocate, a focused Russell is a good football player. Bengals need depth at DT badly. I say if Marvin Lewis has a sit down with him, lays down the law, and kinda of gets a feel for where his mind state is, if ..........Marvin OK'S it then and I can sit well with that decision ..........In Marvin we trust.

Of course we sign him for the minimum.

Gardner is too little reward for too much risk. The Bengals need to keep guys like him out of the organization. The fact alone that Gruden bounced him should tell you all you need to know. I voted no way in hell.

Our D-Line is MISERABLE and we've lost the last 2 big names we've tried to get. Russell isn't exactly a big name, but he's gotta be better than what we've got. Besides, we're in need of depth anyway. If he's cheap, we have no other choice.
