Not that that one player alone would beat us... But they really have had quite offseason and have a kickass offense to go along with that defense... They will be a force. NOT SCARED, just sayin. walzav29
I hate opening on Monday night. It takes forever! It takes a toll for the next week, and the Jets are the team to beat in my head for the SB in the AFC. Then part of me thinks if you're gonna run with the big dogs you have to get used to these types of games. Get some revenge on Monday night? I'll take it. HairOnFire
Mixed feelings from here. The storyline(s) are great and you can almost feel the budding rivalry being deliberately crafted. But it feels like the Bengals are being served upon a platter for a national audience. Win and they get revenge but ultimately prove nothing. Lose, and they'll have lost 3 in a row to a team they're likely to face in the playoffs. Worse, many fans will take it as proof that the team that crumbled late in the season was the real Bengals, not the smashball group that crushed it's way to an early and relatively easy AFCN championship. That said, Marvin loves playing the role of disrespected underdog and it all smacks a bit of what proved to be a nail-biting wildly intense opener against the Ravens from several years ago. Bring it. Bring it.That's kind of the point I was making. Nobody really believes in the Bengals. And it's not so much what others believe about the Bengals, as much as what they believe about themselves. And I'm starting to wonder if they won't start buying into the fact that thy can't win big games.I love a big game to start the season, becauses it's a chance to prove to yourself that you can do it. And if they happen to fail, there's plenty of time to rebuild the confidence lost.

Too bad Rex won't be able to use the "us against the world" angle. Get ready for the sophomore slump, Sanchez. This means that you'll be going from the 31st best QB to the 32nd best QB. ArmyBengal
I think the Jets are going to slump this year. That's just me and I could be wrong, but if I had to pick a team to fall from last years finish, it would be the Jets.

That's just me and I could be wrong, but if I had to pick a team to fall from last years finish, it would be the Jets.I'm with you on this for several reasons I eluded to in a few posts. It'll be nice to see them fall on their faces.
