PhunkE1 Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 The Bengals have setup a visit for Dez Bryant.RotoworldI sure hope he slips to us. I think he's the type of football player that could take us to the next level. Another ubber talented receiver slipped to #21 in the '98 draft. Can you name him? Quote
Kazkal Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 It's quite possible he will,I just hate he has eugene parker for a Agent. Quote

BengalPimp Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 I wouldn't get my hopes up. I seriously doubt he'll be there at #21.....but if he is? It's a no-brainer. Quote
derekshank Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 He's been making good use of the media to cause a drop to #21. And despite the fact that it would be an unreal value pick, plenty of people out there would kill the Bengals for ignoring the red flags. That said... he won't be there at #21. Quote
DC_Bengals_Fan Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 His work ethic kind of worries me. You can make the comparisons to Moss, certainly. I might also make a comparison to Charles Rogers. Anybody got a coin? Quote

I remember watching the draft at a party back in my college days in Athens GA. Each time we would check the draft we were just amazed that Moss was still available. Obviously Bryant doesn't have Moss' speed, but the red flags will make him drop farther than he should, hopefully to 21. Quote

But i think he'll be the kind of guy to hold out... :-/ Quote
HairOnFire Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 His work ethic kind of worries me. Perhaps, but one thing is certain....he isn't lazy in regards to conditioning. That man was absolutely rocked up, and very well served by running without his shirt. By comparison I thought he made Mardy Gilyard look like that laughing little kid attempting to run away from Mario Williams in the United Way ads. Quote
kingwilly Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Is there a list of who is/has been to the facility for a visit? Quote

Thats why there needs to be a cap in the rookie system... I think they should be the same for a certai amount of years. Until the next numbers seem to be fair. Quote
Kazkal Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 I was thinking something like 1st pick get's 32million (still good amount) 4 years...Every pick after 1st get's 1million dollars less until then 11pick who gets 500k less and then small drop offs for rnd 2...That way they have shorter amount years so have a chance at bigger contracts but still making good amount of money Quote

Second, he missed all but 3 games last year due to suspension. He has no leg to stand on.Michael Crabtree was a different story. He didn't get what he wanted and ended up signing for market value for that pick anyways. Quote
