who cares what the experts say

i mean really. only the ignorant bandwagon fans listen to experts b/c they have no knowledge of football. the experts are biased towards teams and change their ideas on players at least twice a day. lets look at how the experts (mostly mel kiper jr.) viewed our players and how we drafted them....

mel said we drafted our player a half round too early.(???)

if we drafted them a round too early it would bea diff. story, but a half round too early. how the hell r we supposed to draft the player we want a half round later. r we supposed to trade down so we can draft the player we want where he is "supposed" to be draft. no

chris perry- mel said that we drafted him way too early, and he criticized us for not taking kevin jones. he said perry would not be a franchise RB and that jones was way better.

i say thats bull$hit. in one of mel's mock draft's he had st. louis taking perry at #26. he said that this was a perfect pick for them and he was suprised that he fell this far. he said that perry is the perfect RB to be the heir to marshall faauk's throne because perry was the most complete back in the draft with excellet hands out of the backfield. Didnt we draft perry at #26, and kiper criticized us for not taking perry

kiewan ratliff-mel said that ratliff was too slow to play in the nfl. he also said we took ratliff too early even tho he had ratliff drafted in the early 50s (we took him at 49) mel said he would have fallen to the 3rd if not for the bengals. while marvin and co. were figuring who to pick at #49 we got a call from andy reid and the eagles. they wanted to trade up. we would later find out that they wanted kiewan ratliff. mel is a dumba$$

madieu williams- mel had a comment on this pic that i dont understand. he said that the 2nd round was way too high to draft madieu but if he fell to the 3rd round he would be a steal. does that confuse anybody else. isnt a steal when the guy was suopose to be picked in a round but was picked 1 or more rounds later thatn projected. i hate mel

caleb miller and landon johnson- mel was all over the place with these picks. first he liked them. then he didnt. then he thought caleb was a steal. then he thought they were drafted too early. i think caleb was a good pick but we could have gotten him in the 4th or 5th round.

matthias askew- mel said he was one of the steals of the draft (which i totally agree with) but he found a way to bash the bengals again making no sense at all. he said askew should have been picked in the second round. we picked askew in the fourth round (a steal). then mel criticized us for not picking a D-tackle in the second round. if we picked a DT in the 4th who should have been taken in the 2nd, isnt that the same as taking a 2nd round tackle. mel doesnt think so. but he does think that tennessee got a 1st round DT (randy starks) in the 3rd round. he went on to say that getting starks in the 3rd round was like getting a 1st round DT. idiot

maurice mann-all he said was that mann had no chance

whatsoever of making the team, which we all know is not true

greg brooks- mel had the colts taking brooks late in the 3rd in one of his mock draft. But when the bengals draft him in the 6th round he has no chance of making the team becvause he is too small.

casey bramlet- no comment that i can recall

what we conclude is that experts suck and no one should listen to them.

Wat,

Dude, don't worry about a guy that "works" for one or 2 days out of the whole entire year!!!

Plus, Mel Kiper Jr said that Akillme Smith was a smart pick. That right there says it all. I think his "HAIR HELMET" was a little too snug that particular day in his "career".

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

i know, i still don't get how he makes his hair like that. he should promote a hair gel during draft day and set a bottle on the desk with the label facing the camera like huggins does (did) for pepsi. he would save a lot of money if the company provides it for him

Chris thinks he's an Alien.. don't believe me.. ask him. He'll provide cited text of how FDR said 'hey' to him way back while agent-J was just getting initiated.

Why would Aliens want Mel " the Hair " Kiper..? If his hair was the result of an anal probe, no wonder they left him alone afterwards... :D

That's the fifth reference of an anal probe in the past week.... is something on your mind (other than Cartman sitting in the middle of the field with a seriously huge satilite pointing to the sky from his, well, you know.. anus)?:lol:

Well the reason is really quite simple Kirk, Some people are such complete A$$holes, they never realize that's why their the "butt" of all jokes ! :D

BTW, Scouts Inc. on ESPN had Keiwan Ratcliff listed as one of eight possibilities for defensive rookie of the year.

Yea I saw that to, and found it very interesting.

They see Ratcliff as being good enough to step right into the nickle back job.

And to maybe be outstanding at it even as a rookie.

Great post, Wat - its hard to dislike any post that proves how moronic Mel Kiper Jr. is.

About Keiwan Ratliff, I also saw that article that listed him as a candidate for rookie of the year. It sounds like he's a great nickelback candidate, very polished for a rookie, but maybe not much more than that. But with the way the NFL is these days, with a 3 WR set being the norm, the nickelback is nearly a fulltime position. Definitely a good pick.
