Yeley was expected to be the driver of a third Nextel Cup car next year, but the organization wants a veteran driver for the ride. Sources close to the team say that Greg Biffle would be at the top of their list.Joe Gibbs, the Washington Redskins' coach, will play his home games at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. next fall so a relationship already existed between Gibbs and the company that will move from the field to the track next year. kevnz
Of course Gibbs would want Biffle. He's the best Free Agent on the market for next year. Roush and Ford must step up to the plate and keep Biffle on board. Ford have lost too many potential superstars in the past few years (Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman as an example) Biffle is already a Busch and Craftsman Champion, and given the right ride he'll be a Nextel champion. kevnz
Ford have lost too many potential superstars in the past few years (Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman as an example) Seems Ford kinda feels the same way about Kahne and they served him with a lawsuit this weekend. foxsportsFord had him under contract, and had the right to match any offer he was given, but they were never given the chance....Now if Kahne looses he could suffer some serious legal bills as his stock has skyrocketed and if Ford is able to show his value (and that shouldn't be a problem) to the brand he's gonna be out the pocket some serious dosh.
