ArmyBengal
D*mn, that's really long and it will take me some time to be able to load it up here at work. I'm working the issue though.EDIT: the new speakers we have aren't loud enough to be able to hear it. Oh well...
icehole3
after watching the video here's who I think have a hard on for:1. Crabtree (I think they cant resist the temptation)2. Curry (they talked about Jeanty in the past tense)3. Barwin (think about the money and him doing 4 things on sunday)4. Monroe (I think between him and Smith they like Monroe)Lippy did most of the talking and I was surprised in how much he seemed to be involved with their Pro Day where they brought in around 40 guys to work out, he was again, doing all the talking, does he have Mikey's ear more than anyone on board, who knows, but on the video when he talked about the prospects, he was giddy talking about Crabtree. Brat who was so subdued seemed to want to go get a LT and a C while everyone else was talking about the glamor positions, just my thoughts.icehole3 is online now Report Post Edit/Delete Message
ArmyBengal
Crabtree is the one prospect in consideration at #6 that I would actually be mad if we took. I'd be good with just about any other on varying levels, but Crabtree does nothing for me or this team. Not to mention he got the "diva" label while visiting the Browns per PFT... icehole3
I heard them talking about that on ESPN, they asked him about and he said he was having fun, dont like that at all. They were talking about Harvin and said he had a whole team with him at some team visit, now add the other red flags, theyre saying he may drop to round 2 and Tate maybe a day 2 pick. ArmyBengal
Apparently Crabtree's biggest concern is what suit, out of the 5 he has, to wear draft day...F*ck Crabtree, he sounds like another NFL WR headcase waiting to happen. fattyjay
Anyone wonder why the Steelers have been so successful? It's because they don't make the mistake of drafting players like this. Even when they do (Plaxico), they get rid of them before the become a detriment to the team. That's why the Bengals need to take an OT or defensive player at #6 and keep any and all offensive skill players off their board until round 2 or later. Whur CHad At?
Santonio Holmes is drama queen in the making. And I liked Crabtree early(before Coles signingyou all know this) and I am weary about his "diva" label. But this guy can play. You question his speed, just compare it to Larry Fitzgeralds speed, almost identical. And he has some of the best WR instincts I have ever seen. He has great ability and tremondous upside without a doubt. With that being said, if Curry and Monroe are on the board I'd say you know f**k Crabtree. But if he is gone, than I think you have to consider it.I'd like to throw a name out there for total shock value, but a real possibility:Knowshon Moreno, RB.I know I dont want him, but can anyone really say he isnt a possibility? There has to be a lot of guys they have to consider but I see him near or around the top.
ArmyBengal
I'd prefer Moreno to Wells if the pick was RB at #6...
