Clackwoods
If we draft any WR at six it better be Michael Crabtree. Their is a chance that he could drop to us and if nothing else we need to throw up the smoke screen that we could take him. As the draft approaches my top 3 picks are still Orakpo, Raji, and then Magulaga.I know this will catch crap, but I am content with our Oline as is....obviously this is after the addition of a center in round 2! If Chad stays and we really do want a WR, I want Maclin due to his return capabilities and what we would likely get out of him in regards to production. The o-line is a mess. They still have no idea who the starting tackles are or who the starting center is. There is a good chance that we are looking at two rookies starting on the o-line this year and that could get ugly. whizzo
WR shouldn't be adressed in this draft i think. we have chad, we got coles in FA, we drafted two WRs last year. we need to fix the OLine and the passrush in the first three rounds, nothing else. having said that, mikey will probably draft beanie wells, a WR like hakeem nicks in the 2nd, and a punter in the 3rd. I also agree we need to fix the o-line, the pass rush, but would like to add a RB with one of the picks in the 3rd.We actually drafted 3 WR's last year in Simpson, Caldwell, and Urrutia. Add in Purify from Nebraska as an undrafted FA and we got 4 WR's last year.I'm really hoping all the talk of Maclin is to get the trade down you would have to think they are desperately wanting...
