Ok. We're freaked out, but how bad is it?

Well Marvin sure didnt seem to happy at the press confrence so not really sure whats going on now lol. So Marvin did say the Brown wanted to give him another chance so thats what there going to do. Mike always said he believes in giving chances but i wonder how many chances do you get before enough is enough. So i dont i cant change any minds lol so it is what it is and all we can hope for is the best. But i must say Marvin did not seem happy about anything lol.

I think Marvin is pissed because he has been forced by circumstance to do what he doesn't want to do - resign Henry! He doesn't agree with him coming back, and doesn't want him back either. His statement a month ago said it all. But then things changed. His No. 1 and 2 WRs are injured ( possibly worse that we realise ), and he is forced to look at his offense for the upcoming start of the season. What does he see? All he has are second-string and largely unproven WRs...a TE which will be a brand new project as we haven't played TE senarios before...a running game which looks good on paper but which is also largely an unknown as we haven't played a running game consistantly before. It scares the living sh*t out of me, so I hate to think what it does to Marvin! He also sees how our offensive line is not performing in preseason, and he realises he needs all the help he can get!

So a move born out of dire necessity, not desire. Yes, he has to eat crow and soak up the media pressure but he also has MB on his back and he needs to win games. The defensive is showning signs of improvement, but if the offense suddenly under performs we will be almost the reverse of last season - our defense will start stopping other teams from scoring, but we won't be able to put enough points on the board ourselves.

I still question why our OC is still here. He should have gone with the DC, and we should have got someone else in. Perhaps Zimmer can tell our offense how to run a Blitz on the Endzone..lol!!
