Dadraftnick Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/08/13/...t-to-be-traded/Joe Horn says he is willing to take a pay cut ,of his 2.5 mil salary, to be traded.Horn would make a nice #3 WR and open things up for Chad and TJ,while the rookies devolop. So far, none of the other WR's have stepped up.If Horn could be had for say , a 4th or 5th rnd pick his salary makes a deal do-able.He could be insurance for next year if the Bengals loose TJ to free agency or if Chad reverts to form. Ickey44 Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Horn's what, 34 or 35 years old? No thanks. I think we'll be fine with the WR's we have. They'll develop. Maxwell's a good enough third WR for now until the rookies catch on. Quote
jditty47 Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 i'd only do it for a 6th or 7th but i'd do it. our rookies need time and the rest we cannot rely on after our top 2 Quote
rwalling Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 I'm torn between two responses: no and HELL NO! Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 No thanks, I'm happy with the weapons the passing game currently has. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Can't see it happening based on what we currently have on the roster and the fact he wants to either play for Philly or Dallas...WHODEY !!! Quote
TippCityRick Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 No. Could you imagine him and CJ together. Good God NO! Quote
chrishcovga Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 You don't add wide receivers AFTER they've played in Atlanta, You grab them before they play their. It's a graveyard for receivers just like Chicago. Just ask Muhsin Muhammad. Quote
