Immediate Changes

1) Send Fogg far, far away

2) Send Coffey to Louisville to get his sh!t together

3) Bring up Bailey to fill Fogg's spot in the rotation

4) Bring up Belisle to fill Coffey's spot and to give another long option beyond Affeldt if the kids (or Arroyo) struggle.

5) Trade Freel to anybody that will take him or send him L'ville to get at bats (Hopper's a better fielder and hitter and a MUCH smarter base runner)

6) Bring up Hairston/Cabrera for a better right handed bat off the bench

7) DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SIGN MIKE F***ING PIAZZA TO ANY CONTRACT OF ANY KIND!

8) Let David Ross stew as long as possible, at least until he proves he's a better option than Bako (pleasant surprise) or Valentine.

These will make my beloved Reds a much better team and maybe, just maybe, capable of a post season run this year and certainly next year.

The problem with Dunn and Freel is that no team will pay what they will have to pay this year for these guys. I wanna say Dunn is 8 million and Freel is 4 million. I'm not a salary expert, but that's what I heard on WLW. Dunn and Freel are dead money and their both here for the rest of the season.

Josh Fogg gets another 2-3 games before we make a decision. If he continues to struggle, bring up Bailey.

I agree, we need more right handed hitters. We're too heavy with lefties.

Are there really talks of Mike Piazza coming to Cincy? I think this would be great, I was thinking about it the other day. He can still play the game and he really knows how to call a game. Him and Valentin would do fine. Who's Bako? Who's Ross?

Patterson's another one. He plays a strong center field, but at some time you have to bring up Bruce who can flat-out hit. Patterson was like 1-19 in his last 20 AB's two days ago.
