San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates will undergo foot surgery next week to fix the injury that bothered him at the end of last season ESPN is reporting.Recovery time for the Pro Bowl tight end is expected to be four-to-six months."It may be the beginning of training camp and it may be the middle of the season," Gates told ESPN.Dr. Robert Anderson, one of the nation's top foot specialists, will perform the surgery.Gates had 75 receptions and nine touchdowns in 16 games for the Chargers this season, but was limited to only six catches in three post-season games while being nagged by his foot injury.
