Bengals1
Kerry Collins, speaking on WFAN, said that the Titans kneeled down at the end of the Colts-Titans game because they knew the Colts wouldn't call a timeout.Collins said that the Titans originally called a running play, but he was told over his headset that the Colts wouldn't call a timeout to potentially force Tennessee to punt with less than 20 seconds left. Pressed further, Collins said the Colts and Titans coaches had "an agreement," which is sure to raise collusion questions. With a Colts timeout, the Titans would have been forced to risk fumbling the ball with three runs. In addition, if the Titans couldn't manage a first down, they would have been forced to punt with about 10-15 seconds remaining. Clearly it would have been a longshot for the Colts to win at this point, but Browns fans won't enjoy hearing this oneI really don't care here just thought it was fodder for a thread. The Skidmarks couldn't beat a lousy bungles team at the end of the year to secure a playoff spot so F-'em!
DuffMan
Why wouldn't the colts let the titans win? their backups were beatin the crap out of the titan starters, so between potentially facing the browns or a hobbled vince young and co. in the playoffs of course the colts let them win. all this talk of conspiracy is pretty redonk if you just use some common sense. i wish i could have been in a cleveland bar when that game was going on...would have been priceless... DC_Bengals_Fan
Can we all agree this is the first time any of us have honestly uttered the words "I wish I was in Cleveland" ?

Actually ...The Titans could have just Kicked a FG to make it a two score game with 10 seconds or whatever left. This is a non-issue except for some cry-baby Browns' fans. The TRUTH of the matter is that The Bengals Knocked their sorry ass out of the play offs by beating them the week before. And the Great Paul Brown Smiles in his grave as THE CURSE Continues.
