Next year's schedule

I've seen on this board and even heard on the Ken Broo show last night about how the Bengals will have an easier schedule next year. Can we clear this up once and for all?

The schedule is ALREADY set for next year, save 2 games. Here's who we have:

Steelers x2

Browns x2

Ravens x2

Giants

Cowboys

Eagles

Redskins

Colts

Jags

Texans

Titans

The remaining 2 games will look something like Raiders and Jets or the Chiefs and Dolphins, something like that. Is that easier than the Patriots and Chargers? Sure.

But just like every year teams surprise (Browns) and teams tank (Ravens, Broncos) so by the time you play them last seasons record does not mean a thing.

The best thing we can hope for with a bad record is a high draft pick. An easier schedule for next year is never guaranteed.

With the Bengals and all of their history, there is no such thing as an "easier" schedule or an "easy" schedule. Look at our December schedule, among the teams we face are some of the worst teams of the 2007 season. Yet everyone will be close and we won't win them all. The Bungals have returned in force this season, wins will be scarce.
