Kirkendall
I'm sure most of you have seen this already, here's the blip on Bengals.com for those that haven't seen it.Bengals running back Skip Hicks has been named Offensive Player of the Week in NFL Europe for April 24-25 after he rolled up a league-high 212 scrimmage yards in the Frankfurt Galaxy's 21-17 overtime loss to the Amsterdam Admirals Sunday. Hicks, who signed with the Bengals in January, carried 23 times for 74 yards and added seven receptions for 138 yards. He busted a screen pass for a 72-yard touchdown, giving him a league-best six touchdowns. Through four games for the 3-1 Galaxy, Hicks is second in NFL Europe in both rushing yards (225), and yards from scrimmage with 399. In one of the better comeback stories of the year, Hicks is bidding to make the Bengals without having a NFL carry since 2001.

kevnz
Sorry if I'm being a bit negative, but I'm still not impressed with anything I've seen, except a play here and there... Oh well...WHODEY !!! Well it's not like he is gonna have to start barring a catastrophic injury to Rudi, Perry, and Watson....He might touchthe ball some late in the game when we are blowing out a team, but that's it, he probably won't make the roster now...but if he keeps doing good in Europe maybe a team would be willing to pony up a 6th or 7th round draft pick if one of their runners gos down...But I'm an eternal optomist
