BZBot
In July, 2006, the Bengals locked Levi Jones up to a $40 million contract extension. A month later, they extended Willie Anderson to the tune of $32 millionSource: http://www.bengalszone.com/article.php?sid=
cincy9275
when the bengals resigned levi at the time it seemed like a good move who knew that he was going to fall apart like he has. as for willie alot of fans thought this was a bad move and that steinbach should have got the money willie did. franchising justin was a bad move, that money could have brought a better player or players here to help on defense. but now we have 72 millon wrapped up in 2 players that are not helping this team. then justin is a quality player but is not worth what he is getting this season. these 3 are just examples of the bad management this team has. i hate to use other teams but just look at new england these guys know when to cut a guy and the are very good at adding a F/A or 2 that helps their team.
