combatbengal
I know we're only six weeks into the season, but our season is over! Lewis has lost control of the team. The players don't respect him; the fans have lost faith in his leadership, etc. Chad came off the field yesterday upset and when Marvin tried to calm him down, Chad just walked away and blew him off. That was a display of insubordination, disrespect, a lack of discipline, and over all an attitude problem. During the bye week, I understand that players get frustrated but there is no reason to blow off your head coach! I posted a threat about how some of the players planned to go to Vegas to relax during the bye week. We were told that there would be changes, and yet we witnessed the same type of performance. It looked as if the players did nothing but party in Vegas. It seems that the team is content with suiting up, going out there and playing below average then collecting a paycheck. Frustration is in full gear now! A few points about the game:- Every week, our def can’t cover anybody!- Def still doesn’t tackle. What happened to the basics of wrapping your arms around the runners legs?- 3 and out most of the game!- Palmer spent most of the game on his back! Nor his fault. - Rudi was not ready to play!- Off line got schooled!- ST’s came to play for a change. Graham was putting the ball in the end zone.- The second challenge should have gone to us. That was a reception. If it were any other team, it would have been one!- The water boy performed exceptionally well!
agreen_112
The season's not over, there's still a long way to go brother... I'm still putting the blame on the coaches. The only good coaching that was displayed was the change they made on the fly with Levi-Whitworth... The o-line was okay, not terrible. We should've been in the hurry-up offense A LOT more! Don't understand why we don't play our game? Our defense was okay, again not terrible. They were on the field TOO damn long. No defense can handle that. Until we get LB's, this defense will continue to suck. Our offense is too good to be losing like this. There's no excuse for not being able to beat the Cheifs 27 pts. DC_Bengals_Fan
The o-line was okay, not terrible. No, it was terrible. Levi got beaten by a drum all half until they finally performed a mercy killing on him. Palmer never had any time to throw. If there was a positive it's that Andrews was pleasantly not awful. combatbengal
Dude, we lost to cleveland! We lost to the Chiefs! How do we fix this? Here is where I think we start. - Hire a GM that know's football- Restructure the coaching staff- Hire better scouts- MB, spend some money on the team- Draft a LB- Draft a S- Draft a CB- Draft a OL
711chad
do you think we should add a replacement for rudi 2 to that list?
RBRYAN
I'd start by replacing the fans. I hear they're looking for a franchise in LA. Now theres a house cleaning that might actually accomplish something.
