Bengals Bar in NYC?

I just moved to NYC last month. I watched the game last Sunday at the Big Easy in the Upper East Side (on 2nd Ave between 93 and 94.) Good turnout of Bengals fans. We had the game with sound.

Here is a link to an article listing a bar in NYC for each NFL team (except the Texans.)

Another internet source says Standings in the East Village is a Bengals Bar.

Here is what it says about the Big Easy:

"Cincinnati Bengals

The Big Easy

Who the hell knows why Bengals fans feel the need to congregate at a New Orleans themed bar, but here’s hoping the followers aren’t the hardened criminals that the players are. Head uptown to this frat-tastic spot to watch Carson Palmer carry your fantasy team to another disappointing season. (1768 Second Ave., 212-348-0879)"

Hopefully, see you there Sunday for a beating of the Seahawks!

WHO DEY!

I can't wait to move back to NYC. I'll be there in time for next season, but I'm stuck in Cleveland till next June. I will definitely check out the Big Easy. I'm gonna have to start a thread for Cleveland too. There's rarely bengals fans at the bars I go to.

This link has some pretty funny bars for some teams though. I don't know all of them, but Proof as a Dolphins Bar? That's a joke. I think it's what the owner wants since a few of the waitresses wear dolphins shirts, but the place has every game, and has fans from many teams there. I used to live around the corner and would watch Bengals games there with a couple of other guys. And Bar None sucks. It's a sh**ty college bar that smells like old beer since so much is spilled on the floor. I guess it must remind Saints fans of home. :lmao:

I just checked the Bengals.com site, in their fan section, and they have a few bars that people have recommended. Here are a couple that sounded good:

K&M

N. 8th & Roebling - Dear New York Bengals fans ... ORGANIZE! We finally have a new Who Dey Headquarters for the 2006 season. After being scattered for so long we finally have a central meeting place in the heart of Williamsburg. K&M bar will have the Bengals playing on their 12ft. projection screen all season and free Cincinnati Style chili will be provided for the prime time games. We're the same crew that threw the Bengals parties at Turkey's Nest and Standings last year, but now you can find us at our permanent home - K&M bar at the corner of N. 8th & Roebling. By train is it's the L to Bedford Ave. or G to Metropolitan. I've checked out other locations and it always ends up being 2 or 3 cheering for the Bengals and a million other fans rooting for rival teams. This will not be the case at K&M! It will be the largest weekly gathering of Bengals fans in New York City guaranteed!

Phebe's

3rd and Bowery - Through negotiating with the manager of Phebe's to contacting the originator of Cincinnati nights to sending out numerous e-mails to people from Cincy in NYC, the word has spread and we have been promised a back room with two flat screen televisions that holds 50-60 people. Two others and myself have put a lot of work into starting a bar where NYC Bengals fans can come together.

Check out the .com site for more.
