Sunday, March 25 Reds at the plate: Third baseman Edwin Encarnacion drove in outfielder Drew Stubbs with an RBI single in the fifth inning. An inning later, pinch-runner Drew Anderson scored on an error by Toronto third baseman Troy Glaus. Outfielder Josh Hamilton added a two-out triple in the third inning. Blue Jays at the plate: Left fielder Reed Johnson collected two RBIs for the Blue Jays. Johnson singled home Royce Clayton in the first inning, and then drove in Aaron Hill with a base hit to left field in the third. Infielder Ryan Roberts doubled and scored in the eighth. Reds on the mound: Pitchers Matt Belisle and Kirk Saarloos, who are both in the running for the fifth spot in Cincinnati's rotation, each made appearances against the Jays. Belisle started and gave up two runs on four hits over four innings. Saarloos yielded one unearned run on three hits with four strikeouts in three frames. Blue Jays on the mound: Right-hander Tomo Ohka turned in five solid innings for Toronto. Ohka, who threw 84 pitches (56 strikes), allowed one run on six hits and struck out four. He also hit two batters. Grapefruit League records: Reds 15-8; Blue Jays 10-11-3. Up next: Toronto right-hander Josh Towers is scheduled to start when the Blue Jays take on the Pirates at 1:05 p.m. on Monday at McKechnie Field in Bradenton, Fla. Cincinnati lefty Bobby Livingston is slated to start when the Reds host the Red Sox at 1:05 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Fla.
