I realize this idea is heartless and probably not going to happen, but if we cut Chris Perry and David Pollack for cap room. What would the savings be. I know it has been thrown out there before but i dont know if the answer has ever been given on the effects of cutting them.

Just a question/idea.

Well let's see we cut C.Perry we lose ($753,000) cap space. We cut Pollack we lose ($1,965,000) cap space....So if we cut both of them we lose 3million dollars.

even if we did save cap space we woulden't cut them because it would be barley anything.

Cap SAVINGS? It would probably cost us money against the cap to cut them. Especially Pollack. We'd have to count all of their remaining prorated siging bonuses against this year's salary cap.

Thanks to the current CBA, I don't think you can cut a player due to an injury. It has to be for (lack of) on the field performance.

What about the next year then? I apologize i am a little uneducated in the cap space area.

What would be the most logical time to cut and run with either of them? I am sure you can cut players for injuries/ lack of productivity. If they are not on the field, they are not being productive. Look to Lavar Arrington.
