hrod382
I've been reading a lot of senior bowl news but no idea of what kind of positions we've been interviewing and scouting. Anyone hear any news on that? It'll be interesting to see what positions get the most looks.EDIT: Found a list..Tony Hunt | RB | Penn StateRufus Alexander | OLB | OklahomaLorenzo Booker | RB | Florida StateVictor Abiamiri | DE | Notre Dame

I usually see Notre Dame play only a couple of times a year and I always focus on him, but he never makes any big plays when I'm watching. He always gives plenty of effort and produces a pretty good push, but in the end...nothing. Then I check his stats at the end of the year and they're excellent. schweinhart
Probably all the dogs on the ND sked. V-Abe still doesn't look like more than a 2nd rounder. It is getting interesting that the Bengals are talking with Booker and Hunt, who both would probably require a 2nd round pick.Got to think if they did draft Booker, that AJ Nicholson would be out the door...I mean isn't that whose pad AJ broke into to thieve on. HairOnFire
Got to think if they did draft Booker, that AJ Nicholson would be out the door...I mean isn't that whose pad AJ broke into to thieve on. Depends on how you look at it. Nicholson broke into an appartment that he had just moved out of to get personal property that his ex-roommate refused to return due to a dispute over rent payments. The ex-roommate was Booker. So it seems likely that Booker and Nicholson were once considered friends, and might be again. BTW, every single big play I've seen Booker create on his own starts with a hard cut to the left. Anything big to the right comes from soft cutting through already existing holes. schweinhart
Booker's value to the Bengals would mainly be as a 3rd down receiver. As a runner, he's pretty much Leon Washington. But when he does run, he's likes to become a sideline sprinter and I doubt he's fast enough to translate that well in the NFL. Between the tackles, he's not an answer.Possible that Booker and AJ could be buds....If the charges were dropped.
princeton
our scouts focus on guys that have positive drug tests, sealed juvenile records, history of team suspensions, and/or uncommon interest in underage girls.

hrod382
mybe AJ payed him back on the rent and all is well Ahh.. You've been absent on NFLDC, I'm PalmerToCJ on there Some guys that seem like decent fits for us are having solid practices thus far.Marcus McCauley tore it up today, Abiamiri is impressing so far, Aaron Rouse seems like he'd be perfect.... A big fast saftey that's great in coverage but could move up to LB although I'm not sure if he'll be there for us round 2 after the combine (he had 2 INT's in 7-on-7 today). WretchedOne
RBs who have the potential to be really liked by the Bengals: (guys who can catch from the backfield)1. Lorenzo Booker2. Darius Walker3. Kolby Smith4. Nate Ilaoa (not the smally shifty kind, but is just a freak and can catch the ball from the backfield.)(5. Garrett Wolfe)(6. Brandon Jackson)
Spor_tees
If Lorenzo Booker or Darius Walker were there in the 4th, the Bengals would HAVE to take them
