Think about it, we'll have a solid draft im sure. we barely missed the playoff with the toughest schedule in football, what do you think we'll do with a much easier one and not only having new talent from the draft and FA's, but look at what were getting back on offense, The Perry's, Tab and Chris. Those 2 are a huge part in why we werent as explosive this past season. My prediction is our offense will be back to 2005 form, with a much more stable offensive line, and i will also predict that we will finally find an identity of defense and become more consistent. Our linebacker core will be intact, DLine will still be deep with or without Smith and our secondary will have atleast a new 2nd round pick im sure. Remember we also stole Skylar Green at the end of the season, he or Tab will finally be the impact kick returner that we've desperately have needed for a long long time.

Yes, our LB corps will be intact. That's the problem. They're not very good.

Hopefully Brooks can blossom and turn into a stud, but outside that hope, there isn't much. Landon Johnson is a good 4th LB who can backup at all 3 spots. Same for Caleb Miller. Jeanty would also be a good backup. But these are not guys you want start if your goal is to win a championship. No difference makers there.

Pollack, Thurman, and Brooks has some potential and all 3 could be difference makers. But 2 of those guys may not play with us again, and we don't know about Brooks. So, as of right now, we need at least 2 starting caliber LBs.

Have fun counting on CPerry....I'll believe it when I see it....

CPerry is a first round pick so the Bengals have no choice but count on him. Their defensive shortcomings, well known, will claim their draft. I don't see them getting Thomas in FA, he's 30 years old. If they hadn't lost Pollack, Odell, Perry, TPerry & Levi last season, I think they'd still be playing. So they are close, no doubt.

They have to recharge at LB first, that is where they get their swagger & identity. Could their first two picks be LB's? Wouldn't make me angry if they did. Still got to solve the DB puzzle, might take another draft to do that.
