markymark69
We shouldn't be surprised it's Indy versus New England to see who will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Afterall, there was no real pressure on the Colts this year, because no one expected them to be in this position and the Patriots you just can't kill.Factor in Marty and his post-season record and IMO, a Ravens that had to rely way too much on its defense, and you could really see this coming. Agree or disagree?
jjakq27
Crazy s**t in that game. SD should have won. Too many dumb penalties and the fumble after the INT was crucial. It changed the game.
agreen_112
^^^ He should've nocked the ball down! You just can't give Brady that chance, he'll make it count for sure in the clutch. Screw impersonating Manning, Palmer should watch Brady's films and learn something from his game. Brady is the best damn QB in the game. The complete QB! If that were Manning getting knocked around like that, he would've choked. Next week will be a great matchup. I'm still going with NE vs. Chicago. BersMrnsT
Screw impersonating Manning, Palmer should watch Brady's films and learn something from his gameOr Shayne should watch gostkowski and impersonate his game....Like did you not watch the last 2 games of the season? Carson did a perfect brady impersonation by being subpar for most of the game and then leading late comebacks to potentially tie/win (keyword as we all know being potentially). duus
I don't know. It doesn't bother who wins this one. I have met numerous Colts fans over the years, and have a great amount of respect for them not only as fans, but as people. I have relatives in Indy, and have spent a lot of time there over the years. I have thoroughly enjoyed the city. Even though they have handed our Bengals two tough losses in the last year, the fans have been very respectable and friendly to me. Never had an occurrence of overly arrogant or 'jerky-ness'. Are they fans? You bet. But Urine fans on the other hand. It's never enough to just win the game ... they have to make it personal. They have to dig a bit deeper into the other team and their fans. And that's why after years of this garbage, I have decided to return the favor. So ... that is where I would laugh if the Pats win this as well. It would just drive all the Urine fans crazy. How dare they be on their way to win 4 out of 6 years? The same team/HC that year after year dealt the Urine a deadly blow. That would be funny too.So ... I will like it either way. I'll just sit back and watch.

We took over their stadium, but ask any of their fans and they'll tell you we were classy. Now, against the Bengals, sure, we'll rub it in when we win. But that's to be expected and you can't tell me Bengals fans wouldn't do the same to the Steelers, Ravens, Browns, or any of your other rivals. As best I can figure, a 'rival' to you must be any opponent that is of equal or greater ability (or has at least beaten you at some point). You see, it is not just the divisional foes. It is also Denver, Oakland, Dallas, Buffalo, New England, Jacksonville, and Seattle, to name but a few. I have sat among various Steeler fans and read article after article after article where the attacks spew forward concerning these teams and fans, making fun of cities and team names and so forth. It just gets even more obvious within the division. If there ever was a town and its people that had an innate need to disrespect and belittle outsiders, it surely is Pissburgh. I've made my point over and over, and I will save the rest for a more appropriate thread.

Rivalry.Jacksonville: You should know this one. The Jags were in the AFC Central when they first came into the league, thus we were division rivals. That doesn't end just because they're in the AFC South now, just like the Pats/Colts rivalry didn't end when the Colts went to the South.New England: Played them alot in the playoffs. They hate us, we hate them. Rivalry.Denver: Nothing I've seen shows this to be a particularly fierce rivalry, but we have played each other in the AFC Championship game twice.Buffalo: I don't know of any particular rivalry with the Bills. The only thing I've noticed is some jokes about how we always have that bet with their mayor where they end up having to give our mayor buffalo wings. (Although the Tom Donahoe/Bill Cowher thing might count)Seattle: Again, not really a rivalry, at least not yet. We just make fun of them for whining about the refs when they should be complaining about how their recievers couldn't make any big catches without stepping out of bounds.
