Squealers and Cowher

Well, it's been pretty quiet on the board this week. Perhaps everybody is prepping for their new years activities or something. More likely its because our beloved Bengals laid a planet sized egg last week against a very average Bronco team.

Having said that, it IS Steeler week, and these guys are still our biggest rivalry. So I thought I'd bring a few topics to the table.

1. Who wins this week and why? Thinking it through, I'm not so sure the Bengals will be able to win this one. The Bengals already seem to have accepted the fact that they aren't going to make the playoffs and the Squealers will want to send Cowher off with a victory. If the Bengals do win, why do they win?

2. Bill Cowher and his 38" chin should get out of town. Wishing for his departure is a bit of a show of respect because, like him (and his gargantuan chin) or not, the guy has won a lot of games. I will be happy to see him leave.

3. The Steelers won the SB last year and many attribute a large part of their success to Ben Uselessbooger. And I've said repeatedly that the guy was an average QB that was surrounded by a great team. This year, I attribute a large part of their failure to him. The guy is 2nd in the NFL with 20+ interceptins. That my friends is the definition of win-killer. BR is overrated and I'm glad he's showing his true colors.
